Beautiful Women Golfers

Golf is quite a staid sport taken up by older corporate honchos mostly, but there are a number of youngsters entering the fray. They are responsible for making the sport much more interesting and competitive. Quite a few women are also taking to the sport and even if they canno make a perfect swing, they do up the glamour quotient of the sport a good deal. Golf is a sport that requires a good deal of money to indulge in, so the women who take it up are obviously women with means and for a start, they are all well groomed. That makes them easy on the eye and the sport itself more interesting. Take a look at some of the ladies in the sport:-

1.    Maria Verchenova of Russia is one top hottie to take up the sport and she is a full time member of the Ladies European Tour. She has several top ten finishes and has admitted to dress in a fashion that attracts attention.

2.    Blair O’ Neal is an American professional golfer. She first appeared on the series ‘The Big Break’ on the Golf Channel. She finished runner up and went on to win the show in the next season.

3.    Natalie Anne Gunbis is also a professional American golfer. She showed an interest in the game at the tender age of four and went on to win her first tournament by the age of seven. Her first professional win came in July 2007 in the Evian Masters in France.

4.    Nikki Garrett is a professional Australian golfer. She turned professional in 2005 and qualified for the Ladies European Tour in 2006. Though she did not win a tournament, she had four top ten finishes. A winner of Ryder Cup Wales Rookie of the Year Award in 2006 and collected several LET titles in Tenerife Ladies Open and Open de Espana Femenino.

5.    Anna Rawson is also a professional Australian golfer and is considered by many to be the most beautiful lady in the sport. She is also a model and turned professional golfer in 2004. She is the winner of Jack Newton International Junior Classic.

6.    Kathleen Ekey is an American golfer. After turning professional in 2009, she entered the Futures Tour and in 2011 topped the list in prize money. She was also named Tour’s Player of the year.

7.    Paula Creamer is an American golfer who started playing at the age of ten. At age twelve she won thirteen successive junior events in the region of Northern California and at the age of fourteen, she became the top ranking female junior golfer. She turned professional when she was eighteen and has since won eleven tournaments. In 2010, she won the US Open and she has also reached the second spot in world rankings.

8.    Charley Hull is a professional golfer from London who won the Rookie of the Year in 2013, her debut year. She has won many titles in the game since turning professional at eighteen.

9.    Ryu So–Yeon is a beautiful golfer from South Korea who has tasted success in the game. She also took to playing golf at the age of 11. A winner of U.S. Women’s Open 2011, she is a regular on LPGA Tour and LPGA of Korea Tour.

10.    Bearitz Recari is a professional Spanish golfer who turned professional in 2006 at the age of eighteen. She started playing golf at a tender age of 11 and has won the 2004 Spanish Amateur Championship and 2005 French Amateur Championship.

These are some ladies who are better known for their looks than the sport they excel in, but can you overlook their achievements and wins?
